Book Condition:    Book has heavy spine, edge and corner.  The spine surface paper has come away from the binding layer but can easily be glued back into place.  There is pencil writing on the front endpapers, otherwise NO writing in the book.  Pages are clean and tight.  Pages are age-tanned with some chipping around the edges, does not affect text.  There is a separation at the seam of the back endpapers through which the binding mesh can be seen but no loose or missing pages.  This book has the beautiful glossy frontispiece drawing!
